Jonathan Carvajal vs. Light & Wave – Radical (Jimmy Chou Remix)

Jonathan Carvajal is no stranger to the trance scene today with releases and remixes on label like Discover, Subculture, Armada to name a few. Now he makes his debut on Ncore Records and this time he has teamed up with Mexican producer Light & Wave to deliver a massive tech-trance track called Radical. The original mix delivers a deep driving tech-trancer which starts of with a driving beat on top of a deep, floor shaking bassline and slowly builds up to a melodic intro that takes us to a lush breakdown filled with strings and haunting voices. Slowly the track builds up to a climax filled with rocket fuel before the track bursts into a bass pumping inferno. On the remix duty we have invited no other than upcoming Vancouver based producer Jimmy Chou and Ncore Regular Robbie Seed. First out we have Jimmy Chou that takes the original idea and twists it to his own tech-trance version of the track and he does it with style. If possible he manages to turn up the energy into sixth gear. The track starts of with a driving rolling bassline toped with lots of interesting and smart effects, which slowly introduces us to the breakdown where we get served lush pads and pianos. The track quickly switches to a climax that lead you of thinking this is just another melodic trancer but soon turns 180 degrees and hits you in the face with a drop that makes you hair rise. Last but not least we have Robbie Seed that delivers a remix that will make any uplifting trance head out there raise their hands in the air. Here we get served a more melodic version of the track showing its true feelings. The track starts of with a driving beat which brings us to to a breakdown to die for which presents us with a melodic euphoria. Robbie manages to create the track to his very own with a lot of energy and feelings. This is a must in any trance set and we are pretty sure you agree with me.
